Commis Chef Job Description:

As a Commis Chef at our restaurant, you'll play a pivotal role in our culinary team, assisting in the preparation of exquisite dishes that embody our commitment to authenticity and quality. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation and Cooking: Assisting senior chefs in the preparation of ingredients and cooking under their guidance. You'll be involved in various cooking techniques, ensuring consistency and precision.

Recipe Adherence: Following recipes and guidelines provided by senior chefs to maintain the standard and authenticity of our dishes.

Station Maintenance: Keeping your workstation organized, clean, and well-stocked, ready for efficient service during busy times.

Ingredient Management: Ensuring the availability of fresh and quality ingredients, properly stored and rotated to minimize wastage.

Learning and Growth: Eagerly learning from experienced chefs, improving your culinary skills, and expanding your knowledge of various cuisines and cooking methods.

Collaboration: Working seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination during service, including communication with waitstaff for timely delivery of dishes.

Quality Control: Assisting in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, reflecting the essence of our restaurant.

Hygiene and Safety: Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items, as well as maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Job Specification

Antonia Restaurant is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Commis Chef in the field of Other in one of their office located in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have high school graduate qualification and atleast 1 year of experience. The position require commis chef, restaurant, pivotal, culinary, team, preparation, quality, cooking, senior, maintenance, workstation, service, busy, management, availability, learning, standards, handling mandatory skills. This is a Full-Time evening shift job.
