Job Overview:
The Social Media Specialist at Metahomes will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s social media presence across multiple platforms. This role requires a highly organized, creative, and data-driven professional who can oversee day-to-day social media operations, develop and implement strategies to increase engagement, and build a cohesive brand voice online. The ideal candidate will work closely with the content, marketing, and paid ads teams to ensure Metahomes' social media presence aligns with business goals and resonates with the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning:
1.1 Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Metahomes' brand identity and business objectives.
1.2 Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
1.3 Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media engagement, reach, impressions, and conversion, and track performance.
2. Content Creation & Scheduling:
2.1 Oversee the creation, curation, and scheduling of high-quality content (text, images, videos) for social media posts.
2.2 Work with the content and design teams to ensure that visuals and messaging are consistent with the Metahomes brand and appealing to target audiences.
2.3 Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring a regular cadence of posts that support marketing and promotional goals.
3. Community Management:
3.1 Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews across all platforms.
3.2 Foster a positive, responsive, and interactive social media environment, handling customer queries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
3.3 Build and maintain relationships with followers, influencers, and key stakeholders to create a loyal community around the Metahomes brand.
4. Influencer & Partnership Collaboration:
4.1 Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and content creators to amplify Metahomes’ social media reach.
4.2 Develop partnership opportunities that enhance the brand’s online visibility and engagement with potential customers.
5. Social Media Advertising Support:
5.1 Collaborate with the Paid Ads Specialist to ensure social media advertising campaigns are integrated with organic social efforts.
5.2 Assist in creating and optimizing paid social media ads (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
6. Analytics & Reporting:
6.1 Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and third-party social media analytics platforms.
6.2 Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve engagement, increase followers, and enhance the overall effectiveness of social media efforts.
6.3 Monitor competitor activity and trends within the real estate industry, using insights to adjust and refine Metahomes’ social media strategy.
7. Social Media Trends & Innovation:
7.1 Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Metahomes remains innovative and competitive in the digital landscape.
7.2 Experiment with new social media features, platforms, and content formats (e.g., stories, reels, live videos) to engage with new audiences and build brand awareness.
8. Crisis Management & Reputation Monitoring:
8.1 Develop and execute social media crisis management protocols to handle negative feedback, PR issues, or reputational risks quickly and professionally.
8.2 Monitor social media channels for potential reputational threats and escalate them to senior management when necessary.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
9.1 Work closely with marketing, content, product, and customer service teams to ensure social media efforts are aligned with broader company goals.
9.2 Support marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and promotions through targeted social media initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
o Certifications in social media management or digital marketing are an advantage
• Experience:
o A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a technology or real estate industry.
o Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on multiple social media platforms.
o Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
o Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
o Experience with content creation software like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools.

o Strong ability to create and curate engaging social media content (visuals, videos, written content).
o Proficient in using analytics tools to measure performance and provide actionable insights.
o Skilled in fostering engagement and building relationships with followers, influencers, and stakeholders.
