Description

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review project specifications and drawings to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for bidding purposes.
• Source and obtain competitive bids from vendors and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services required for projects.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor and track project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budget and provide regular updates to project management team.
• Generate and submit price estimates and bids to clients and participate in bid reviews and presentations.
• Coordinate and oversee the procurement process from pre-bid to post-bid phases, including issuing purchase orders and managing subcontractor
• contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the procurement process.
